Dear Resident, Carers Scotland Glasgow Roadshow 2026
Next week, Neighbourhood Watch Scotland will be joining BT and a host of other organisations at the Carers Scotland Roadshow in central Glasgow (City Chambers, 23 Montrose Street, Glasgow), to provide information about the Digital Voice switchover and what this may mean for you or someone you care for.
The event is for unpaid carers and if you or anyone you know falls into this category, please come along. You'll be able to connect with other unpaid carers and receive valuable information about services that can help support you in your area. There will stalls with useful literature you can take home and a series of targeted talks,
11am - 11.30am - Social Security Scotland - learn about financial support available to unpaid carers. 12pm - 12.30pm - BT - Learn about why the UK landline network will be retired in January 2027, what it means and how to navigate the changes. 1pm - 1.45pm - Carers Scotland - Find out about carers rights and entitlements including Adult Carer Support Plans, workplace rights and more.
The Roadshow is completely free, you can drop in anytime between 10.30am and 2.30pm and refreshments will be provided.
